Summit Assembly exists to reach the lost.  This is our first priority.  Our goal is to reach as many people as we can until the Lord returns for His church.  Although Lee’s Summit is the hub of our mission field, we understand the importance of fulfilling the great commission that Jesus “commanded” us to do in Matthew 28:19, 20.  As a new church plant we are delighted to be in a position of currently supporting 8 missionary ministries, at home and abroad.  We plan to add at leaset 4 more missionaries in the new future.  God has truly blessed Summit Assembly for supporting Missions.  Please join us in prayer for the missionaries we have in the field that God will give them favor to reach the lost and hurting people in their area.  We give God the entire honor as we extend our ministry beyond Lee’s Summit, Missouri into the uttermost parts of the earth.  “As the Father has sent me, I also send you” (John 20: 20)

All Ministries of Summit Assembly are involved in Missions programs.  The ministry of missions are listed below:

“Women Touching the World!” is our Women's Ministry's Missions Program.  Projects are selected that the Women give towards each year.  The “Treasure Chest” has items to help our first-time missionaries.  Besides items they give finance & Wal-Mart cards to buy appliances & other supplies.

"Speed the Light" (STL) is the student-initiated ministry that provides transportation and communications equipment to missionaries across the nation and in over 150 countries around the world.

"BGMC" is the missions education emphasis for children in the Assemblies of God. It provides resources to help teach kids about missions.
